Have you had your flu jab yet? We are running a walk-in clinic on Saturday 7th October from 8.30 - 11.00am. No need to book an appointment - just turn up!
Our new telephone queuing system will be operational on Wednesday 11th October. We hope this will help patients to contact the surgery more easily.
Patients registered to GP practices in North Hertfordshire are being asked their views on GP opening hours by East and North Hertfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and NHS England. The survey can be found here

Have you signed up for online access yet? It is the easy way to order repeat prescriptions and you can also book and cancel appointments online. Download the application form using the link at the bottom of the page.
Please make sure that we have the correct mobile phone number for you so that we can send SMS reminders for appointments.
Repeat prescription requests cannot be taken over the telephone.
Patients on regular medication are given a printed list of their medicines. To obtain a repeat prescription leave this list with the receptionist having clearly marked the items you are requesting.
Alternatively you can order online via the link at the botton of this page.
A new prescription will be ready for collection after two working days or we can send it electronically to a pharmacy of your choice. Please speak to reception to update your medical record to include a nominated pharmacy.
If you are aware that your list contains medicines which are no longer needed, please inform reception who can update the records.
If you have been collecting prescriptions for some time without discussing this with a doctor the receptionist may ask you to make an appointment for review of medication.

Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs). The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines. Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months, or more than 15 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.
There is further information about prescription exemptions and fees on the NHS website
Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. If you experience any problems please telephone the surgery to discuss with a member of staff.
